The light intensity of full sun might effect them. I suggest exposing them to sunlight gradually, maybe put them under a shaded area that gets a couple hours of light a day and increase their exposure until they're out in full sunlight.

The cooler the weather the better, so fall is a good time. They are very sensitive to heat, for best growing conditions they like under 75, if it's gets above 90 they probably won't grow much and may start to wilt. So that all depends on your local temps.

Especially outside, watch closely for any mold or mildew!

Are you planning on flowering them? What are your temps day/night?

the plant is currently 7 inches high since it is a new clone... i now have it in the garage(so i guess its well ventalated) in a soil pot in a foiled up box with a shop ligh (w/ al cone) hangin 6 inch from top with a flo plant light... but since it was out side for 2 days it got all dry and leaves got a bit yellow on tips and 1 or 2 spots. im goin to flush the pot in the morning to take out the toxins. i think that will do it till at least it is 2-3 ft in veg state... i think i am on the right track.. temps at 80+ im in east bay the w creek area

It sounds like the heat and light burnt them, isn't there a heat wave in the east bay right now? Florescents are very weak compared to the power of the sun. And clones are very sensitive.

As far as flushing soil, I would not suggest that. What kind of soil are you using? Generally the main reason to flush your medium is if it has lots of salt, which will cause yellowing and burnt leaves. You should always flush coco coir, because it's grown with salty ocean water. But most store bought soil shouldn't need flushing.

An interesting fact, florescents only penetrate about 6 inches at full lumens (lumens are the measure of light intensity). Every inch after that decrease lumens dramatically. Once your plant gets a foot and taller you might start to notice anything below the canopy might not grow or look healthy because it's not getting enough light. But it's probably a good idea to keep them inside until it cools down a little bit more atleast.
