question about forced flowering
Two weeks ago I started bringing some of my outdoor babies inside from 7pm - 7:30AM to get them flowering a little early. Now that they're budding, is it okay to leave them outside where they'll get more than 12 hours of light?

The outdoor sisters of the girls I've been forcing are already starting to bud under our current 14+ hours of sunlight (but only about 6 hours of direct sunlight), so I was hoping I could stop lugging these heavy plant in and out every day.

Plants in nature are very cyclic. Their light cycle never varies more than a minute or 2 a day. A question was asked in grow class if you could adjust the light cycle an hour to account for daylight savings time. The answer is you can, but it's best to do it over the course of 4 days, varying the amount of light by 15 mins each day.

Disturbance of the light cycle can cause hermies and reveg. It won't automaticly happen, but it could. So I would say just ease them into it.

thanks
Makes sense. I guess I'll start bringing them in a little later each night until I catch up with the natural sunset.

Thanks again. I love this place.

I would cut the light to 10 hrs.Are these from seed or clones? If from seed I would wait until the whole plants in bloom before I leave them outside.

Here are some photos of my outdoor clones they are 8 weeks old 4 weeks ago i cut the light to 10 hrs 2 weeks ago I put them back outside to the natural light cycle

Geezeressa will become famous soon enough
So Blackjack, are you saying that after two weeks at 10 hours of light per day, you can put them out under 14 hours and they will still flower??

This time of the year yes.My clones for the first month where just veging I didn't want to wait until my clones wanted flower for them self so I took them in to my grow room every day for about 2 weeks they started to show flowers the first week now 3 weeks later buds getting bigger every day.Planting clones outdoors from Sept thru Oct clones will go direct to flower.I have had some great harvest doing it this way.

Ive had success with a crop in june by letting them bud indoors for a full 30 days then moving them outside to finish up flowering. It only works with strains predisposed to early flowering.

when starting a plants flowering cycle inside (especially for 30 days),does anyone know if will this cause the stars and the moon or lightning to be more stressful to the plant or will they adapt to the lights in the dark cycle quickly. i dont quite understand why this plant so sensitive to light indoors, but not out. any help?
