Darrent Williams Dead at age 24
As a Bronco fan and fan of the NFL I was saddened by the news this morning. Darrent Williams, starting cornerback for the Denver Broncos was shot and killed in a drive by style shooting early this morning.
Details are sketchy, but the scenario had Williams and team mate Javon Walker at a club near 11th and Grant when an altercation broke out. The players left immediately and were apparently followed to 11th and Speer where the shooting took place. Two other people were also hit in the white Hummer stretch limo occupied by Williams, one male and one female. It's also rumored Javon Walker was in the limo.
We send our sincere condolences to the Williams family and the extended Denver Bronco family.
