It is a hyped strain, but they never said it yielded alot. On the contrary, DNA said "this strain makes up for the lack of yield in smell, appearance and stone."

The smell, appearance and stone are 100% nice without a doubt. my la mommys smell kushy. I think that is a good yield. I am going to do this strain next in a sog. I figure if you can get 36 2gal grow bags in a 4 by 4 and you only veg your clones for a week to 10 days then hit the lights to 12/12. and even if you get 20 grams per plant thats 720 grams and you can take off all the bottom growth and use for clones for the next grow. Thats 25 ounces. with 1 1000 watt light and thats low balling it. Just thought i would share my thoughts on the la con and increasing the yield. Looks like some very good smoke bro! how is the trimming on the la? Ive heard its leafy as hell but if grown right the buds will swell and make it easier! thanks for shareing. I dont grow for yield i grow for quality cus you can have a ton of weed but if it dont get you fucken ripped whats the point!

Hell ya purp! thats what im talkin about man. quality, not quantity! that sounds like a hell of a lot of plants to deal with at once though. my method gets me 8 plants, about 4-6 oz., every 2 weeks, pure dank. clone box 1 month, 240w of fluorescent tube "ott lights"-veg box 1 month, 250w mh+480w fluorescent bulbs-flower box 45 to 75 days (depending on strain), two 400w hps. after 15 years, these plants are trained to do this. not very big on lights, but the quality of the smoke is of the best ever smoked. cant wait to get to try some outdoor techniques with these. ive seen colas 15 inches in diameter with 2 1000 watters. solid bud. mold gets to be an issue at this size, but kept small, they just turn into little rocks. no ceiling! keep on risin!

well lets move ahead a past veg right into first week flowering again with la con. this time there is seven plants in three gallon grow bags, six in two gallon bags forming a nice cup like cannopy to catch as much light as possible also just released a buttload of lady bugs to take care of any pests .... tomorrow I'll start the first of three spray treatments of pennatrator and zone to kill off any powdery mildew spores deep inside the leaves and here we go...o yea this time around im using coco mix by biobizz and my nutes are house and garden a and b with all the bells and whistles (shooting powder ect.) im also using hygrozime and raw sugar from malawi great stuff sweeeet

yo purp... you having to suplement cal mag at all with the h&G coco line

Some strains reqire more cal mag than others, Afgooey comes to mind as a strain that needs it. Just add epsom salts you should notice right away if your leaves are looking rusty.

hum... i was told that it was not good to add epsom salt to any coco grow that it would cause a lock out..? Doe's any one else use epsom salts for cal-mag def. when growing in coco? Or have an opinion on this subject please feel free to chime in.

5 to 10 mls per gallon of epsom salts diluted first in hot water then add to res. Foliar w Epsom salts for quick results or foliar w/Spray and Grow bloom for a menu of macro and micro nutrients. Inoculaid will correct all your lock outs as well.
