what about our employment rights?
has anyone ever had the same experience that i had? for example, when you're applying for a job and you know that they're going to do a drug screen, so the application ask, "are you taking any medications, which would include MJ, "? and you answer yes, only to find out that you were "NOT" selected for the position, on the otherhand, you answer dishonestly and say "no i do not" and you're selected for the position. now here is the question, does the integrity extend to the employer as well? or is it only on the side of the applicant? what i think is worse is that it is almost impossible to know exactly what that employers "hiring" policies are, relating to "drug use" i.e. medical marijuana, even with all of your doctors recommendations, state i.d. cards and any other documentation you may have to prove that you as the applicant are much more than just a "recreational user" of MJ. has anyone else ever had that experience? just wondering if it's just me

I don't think you have any rights. They can refuse hiring you even if it's medical, they can fire you for a positive drug test. The only exception is if you are prescribed Marinol.

marinol? who in the world would want to promote that? besides pay high prices to the pharmacutical companies and make them rich, just to have a "job" and then you have all these others who drink and drive and cause mass accidents and the occasional deaths to boot! but who should we thank for the marinol?-

If your boss catches you smoking he'll smack you with so many lefts you'll forget about the rights.

Marinol is like $1600 a month, that's alot of GDP or other buds.

isn't the "new democratic" congress supposed to vote on leg to decrim in most of the states? there was an article in H.T. mag about the house of reps being in favor of making herb a low priority for law enforcement throughout the country, did anyone else see the article?
