I think you can grow enough to have a steady supply
That depends on how much cannabis you consume and the strain you grow maybe you could rotate a plant out of the veg room to the flowering area every 12-14 days at the same time you harvest one that way you always have the same plant count.
Will you be cloning or using seeds your best bet would be to find a reliable source for clones so you wont have to wait for seeds to mature or keep a mother plant for cuttings. Repot them in bigger pots after they go into the flowering room what type of growing medium would you use........

Perpetually Yours?
Sure you can, with indoor lighting and the proper humidity and pest controls.

But after a while the energy costs will get you down. Lower you costs and do even more creative things with LED Grow Lights, find lots of ideas and information at - http://www.led4growth.com/The-Lowdown%20on%20LED%20Lighting.htm.

Something you can do with ideal humidity and pest controls, when you trim your harvest, increase the hours back to 12-14 hours, add some nutrients to promote growth, for another month or two, then go back to 9-10 hours per day for a month or two, your second crop will put the first to shame. The reason I say month or two? Your variety will dictate the number of days for growth and bloom required to get truly mature results.

Another really wild idea for fully indoors growers, is to try Double Daying, two eight hour lighted periods and two four hour dark periods each twenty four hours. With some varieties this works really well to increase yields.

Good Luck, be Creative!

i think i understand
first off though, i think the oldhippy has been trippin for too long. "2, 8 hour days and 2, 4 hour nights"????? You do know you need at LEAST 10 hours of uninterrupted darkness to produce thc? Right? Anyway, try this...get 2 clones of the biggest, best, fastest growing meds you can get. Do some research, and you'll find what you want somewhere, i hope. Make a small box (4'x4'x4')out of 3/8" reflective insulfoam on all sides, top and bottom. tape the seams with reflective duct tape. put a 250w mh in there, or build yourself some "light arms", and use 300w worth of cfls. there's a how to do this in this site somewhere. make another box (out of same materials) 5'x7'x4', and put 2 400w hps in there for flowering.
After 2mos. in the veg they (set A) should be ready to clone, hopefully sooner. take two clones (set B) off of each plant, and put them in the veg box.6 at the same time put the mamas (set A) into the bud box. these box sizes may be a little big for so few plants, so you may get away with smaller boxes if you need. after 1 month, if you can, take 1 clone ea. (set C) off of the best looking and ready (set B.1) mamas, at the same time put these mamas into bud. now if youre only allowed 7, youre going to have to sacrifice the weakest clone in set B.2 at this point to stay within limits. after another month the set A should be done, take them down, clone the single B.2 twice, that puts you back to your limit, and just try not to smoke too much at a time, see how long one hit keeps you good before you take another. I find i need to feed the veg less to keep them a little slower while the mamas bud. The main thing is to find a plant that will do what you need her to do for you, and dont forget that its the amount of love you give the plant, not the amount of fertilizers. And dont forget, you are consuming this, so keep it natural. Works for me anyhow, hope it helps you out.
