Wondering if the plants could be over watered
Im a bit of an engineer and i could build either or or both together in one im wondering if i would have more success with both or just DWC or drip.

I run drippers in coco and I like it, the plants like it. i see fabolous results with DWC and other methods, including soil.

Being an engineer you should just study the methods and build what you envision as your perfect garden. Then design it so you could use the pieces over if needed in another method if your vision doesn't pan out.

It takes a trial run to see what's working. If you build it yourself you'll know the system well enough to get it working though. Growing weeds isn't rocket science. Just design with ease of maintenance in mind and you'll be fine.
