I am in very desperate need of replacing my ballast. I have all my babies under an older super hot ballast. The bulb screws into the ballast its self so there is way to much heat and I can not keep the grow room cool enough, even with air conditioner and raising the light to 5ft above the plants it stays above 89 deg.
I have a 400wattLumatek electronic ballast, remote so I put the ballast in the closet and the reflector is air cooled with almost no heat! I place this one only 1.5ft above the plants and it is for 400watt halide or hps!
The ballast just stoped working one day and I changed the bulb, thought maybe it cut it's self off, safety swith but did what the directions said and still no power!
I am on SSI so I would need to make you a trade if you will consider it ?
I can either cut you in a portion of my grow, all purps and thai or if there is something you are interested in maybe i have it?
I would like to do this asap if at all posible?
