Where's Mars?

I ran into a friend of Mars who has some info on Mars being missing in action. Seems her and DutchGrown over at ICmag got in to it and Dutchgrown fired her.

While unsure of the exact nature of the disagreement it may have to do with Mars feeling a seed company wasn't properly tending to patients needs. Mar's husband has started a marijuana info site and there may have been a conflict of interest. Those are the most likely stories.

I've never been on ICmag and really don't know much about Dutchgrown other than she is Gypsy Nirvana's ex wife or wife? I understand Mars has no intention of returning to ICmag in any capacity, that came through pretty clear. I'd like to see her over here, where the crowds are more local.

I've heard much of that already plus I'm picking up a feeling of dissent in the bay area over this. Mars was much respected at OG and it's good to hear about her even if it wasn't the most pleasing news. I lurk into icmag now and again and have noticed a change in the med forum. I'm pretty much liking this set up better anyway. It would be great to hear her side of what went down other there.

Black hatting is what weedspotter is doing on Icmag. They basicly dig up old posts that sink fast. Then they reply to the thread with a link to weedspotter in their signature. Then at weedspotter they make a link to ICmag. Google see's this a a recipricol link and awards them more page rank.

A couple years ago you could type 'go to hell' into google and it would display microsoft.com first in the query results. This was accomplished by thousands of bloggers putting "go to hell microsoft' in thier sigs. This is just one method of getting you higher up in the search results with google.

At one time weedbay was blackhatting on ICmag but our ranking are high enough now that's it's no longer benefitial. Dabronx took blackhatting to the extreme over there by posting 'come ons' from his news stories and linking to the full report.
