Interesting...
Cloning is the only way i know. I've never had a clone take longer than a week to need to be moved, and they might sag for a day to three max. I do one thing different than what i've seen any where else, after i cut the 45 (just below the leaf intersects), I then make a small slit up the center of the clone before dipping it into clonex gel (as fast as i possibly can). Then, depending on the strain, they go directly into a clonex cube and tray under 8 40w fluorescent bulbs, or directly into the growing medium for the ones that wont grow in a hydro setup. Don't know why, except all i can think is this particular strain has been in soil for more than three decades as well as the p1, and lovin it all the way to the bong! Anyway, either way i have no problems... but if they do take too long... out the door they go, survival of the fittest forever. I think as long as you use sharp, clean scissors, grab a med size, healthy looker, and get her into some water asap, you should do ok. Have a good attitude and feel confident about it. Maybe tell her shes only got a few days to root and shes out the door... they do respond to conversation. Good luck.
